SHIRAZ Provincial Law Enforcement Forces (LEF) personnel have seized 23.605kg of illicit drugs on inter-city roads in this southern province over the past week, the provincial police's public relations office announced here on Wednesday.

The report identified the narcotics that were confiscated as 22.815kg of hashish and 0.790kg of heroin.

The illicit drugs were intended for distribution in Tehran, the report further said. (IRNA)
